In metal roof spray applications, elastomeric roof coatings are used to water proof roofs. In most spray applications, white metal coating is the first choice due to its ability to reduce heat load on roofs. This is accomplished by reflecting UV rays and therefore reducing heat gain inside the building. It is important to have the right roof coatings for the right job. At Tillotson Enterprises, we use a variety of elastomeric roof coatings for our spray applications to give you more choices, and because there is no one coating suitable for all jobs.

At Tillotson Enterprises we use spray in place polyurethane foam (spray foam) for insulation. Spray foam has a wide variety of uses and functions. At Tillotson Enterprises, our main applications are for roof substrates, interior insulation, and air barrier & vapor barrier purposes. In all of these spray applications, spray foam is far superior to alternative ways of solving the same problem. In essence, spray applications of spray foam can achieve end results no other product can.

In a spray application of spray foam, the spray foam expands and dries within seconds of being applied. Its expansion results in a weather tight roofing membrane that is fully adhered to the substrate. Because of its special chemistry, the spray application of spray foam adds little additional weight to the structure.

Some spray application jobs require coatings that are puncture resistant due to weather conditions, slope of the structure, or other environmental characteristics that could potentially harm other coatings. Tillotson Enterprises can apply a polyurethane coating or poly-urea coating in these areas. These options offer the greatest value of resistance better known as tensile strength.
